Bueno, pues despu\u00e9s de pegarme con el Lego, Matlab\/Simulink y la conexi\u00f3n wifi en Ubuntu<\/a>, he probado con la opci\u00f3n Windows montando yo la red con un router wifi, en este caso. Estos son los pasos a seguir:<\/p>\n

  1. El router que he usado es un Linksys Compact Wireless-G<\/a>. Como el PC que he utilizado est\u00e1 detr\u00e1s de un proxy, en las opciones de configuraci\u00f3n de red de Windows 10 ha sido necesario especificar que el proxy no se use para la URL del administrador web del router.<\/li>\n
  2. El firmware del LEGO EV3 para poder trabajar con wifi en Simulink\/Matlab 2016b es el 1.08<\/a>. Ni el firmware 1.09 ni el 1.03 funcionan.<\/li>\n
  3. Para conectar el EV3 usando los dongles Edimax o NetGear que explicaba en la entrada que enlazo al principio del post, he a\u00f1adido la red del router con la opci\u00f3n Add Hidden Network<\/em>, indicando el SSID que aparece en el administrador web del router. La seguridad es None<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  4. El funcionamiento correcto de la conexi\u00f3n se puede comprobar haciendo un ping<\/em> desde el Command Prompt<\/em> de Windows.<\/li>\n
  5. Antes de trabajar en Simulink, es recomendable\u00a0comprobar que el robot est\u00e1 accesible<\/a> desde la ventana de comandos de Matlab.<\/li>\n
  6. Finalmente, lanzar Simulink, seleccionar la opci\u00f3n WiFi como Host to Target Connection<\/em> en los par\u00e1metros de configuraci\u00f3n del hardware del modelo, especificando la IP y el Device ID del robot (esa informaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 disponible en la pesta\u00f1a Settings<\/em>\u00a0, opci\u00f3n Brick Info<\/em> del EV3).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Con este procedimiento he conseguido descargar un programa en el EV3. Tambi\u00e9n es cierto que a partir de ah\u00ed el robot se ha colgado. Pero, al menos, la conexi\u00f3n se ha hecho…<\/p>\n

    Well, after\u00a0fighting the Lego, Matlab\/Simulink and WiFi connection under Ubuntu<\/a>, I have tried the Windows option, but in this case I also set up a network with a WiFi router. These are the steps to follow:<\/p>\n

    1. I have used a\u00a0Linksys Compact Wireless-G<\/a>\u00a0router. Since the PC I have worked with is behind a proxy, I had to add the router web admin URL to the no-proxy exceptions in the network configuration of Windows 10.<\/li>\n

In order to connect the EV3 with the Edimax or NetGear dongles that I explained in the link at the beginning of this post, I have added the WiFi network of the router with the option Add Hidden Network<\/em>, using the SSID shown in the router web admin page. I have chosen None<\/em> security\u00a0<\/i>option.<\/li>\n
    4. You can check that the robot has connected to the router with a simple\u00a0ping<\/em>\u00a0from the Windows\u00a0Command Prompt<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    5. Before launching Simulink, it is a good idea\u00a0to check that\u00a0 the robot is accessible<\/a> from the Matlab commands window.<\/li>\n
    6. Finally, you should launch Simulink, choose the WiFi option on the Target Hardware Resources of your model, incluing the IP and Device ID values of the robot (you can get those values in the Settings<\/em> label of the EV3, option Brick Info<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
