para usar Octave con GUI, llamarlo as\u00ed: <em>octave &#8211;force-gui<\/em> (aunque en esta versi\u00f3n de Octave a\u00fan no est\u00e1 perfecto)<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Algunos de los paquetes instalados han provocado warnings al ejecutar Octave; estas son las soluciones que he encontrado (aka googleado :)), siempre instalando\/desinstalando desde Synaptics:\n<ul>\n<li>Desinstalar <em>octave-strings-1.1.0<\/em>, <em>msh<\/em>, <em>octave-specfun<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Instalar <em>dx<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Algunas funciones gr\u00e1ficas (<em>rlocus<\/em>, por ejemplo) no funcionan correctamente: se abre la ventana, pero est\u00e1 vac\u00eda. El problema est\u00e1 en la toolkit gr\u00e1fica por defecto (fltk). He encontrado dos posibles soluciones:\n<ul>\n<li>Usar otra toolkit: <em>graphics_toolkit(&#8220;gnuplot&#8221;)<\/em>; pero a m\u00ed me parece que la calidad no es buena.<\/li>\n<li>Usar alguna de las soluciones de <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.gnu.org\/archive\/html\/octave-bug-tracker\/2014-03\/msg00484.html\" target=\"_blank\">este enlace<\/a> (a m\u00ed la primera me ha funcionado).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a id=\"english\"><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"#spanish\">[En espa\u00f1ol]<\/a><br \/>\nI have done my installation from Synapctics. I chose Octave and almost any other related package \ud83d\ude42 These are some issues to take into account:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Qt-Octave<\/em> shouldn&#8217;t be installed, it is not longer used. In order to use a GUI for Octave, you should run it like that: <em>octave &#8211;force-gui<\/em> (though in this Octave version is not totally finished)<em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Some of those installed packages gave rise to some warnings; after some research (aka googling :)), this is how I have fixed them, always installing\/uninstalling from Synaptics:\n<ul>\n<li>Uninstall <em>octave-strings-1.1.0<\/em>, <em>msh<\/em>, <em>octave-specfun<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Install <em>dx<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Some graphical functions (like <em>rlocus<\/em>) do not work properly: they open a blank window.
