Edici\u00f3n 2015<\/em>\/ Joan Ribas Lequerica<\/li>\n<li><em>Profesional Android open accesory programing with Arduino<\/em> [Recurso electr\u00f3nico]\/ Andreas G\u00f6ransson,<\/li>\n<li><em>Android Studio application development<\/em> [Recurso electr\u00f3nico] \/ Bel\u00e9n Cruz Zapata.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a id=\"primerpaso\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Primer paso: instalaci\u00f3n de JAVA<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bajarse de Sun el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/es\/java\/javase\/downloads\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">java jdk<\/a> (a partir del 7 ya vale); no el jre, que s\u00f3lo es el entorno de ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crear un directorio para el jdk\u00a0 y descomprimir<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si queremos activar los applets de java en firefox, hay que crear en donde firefox tiene los plugins (\/usr\/lib\/mozilla\/plugins) un enlace simb\u00f3lico al plugin que trae el jdk para eso, que est\u00e1 en \/dirjdk\/jre\/lib\/amd64\/libnpjp2.so. Luego se rearranca el firefox y se mira en about:plugins. Tambi\u00e9n se puede ejecutar el programa jcontrol del directorio bin de java para establecer los permisos de seguridad que permiten ejecutar applets de alg\u00fan sitio concreto.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">A\u00f1adir al final de <em>~\/.bashrc<\/em> las siguientes l\u00edneas, para que as\u00ed Java quede visible para el Android Studio. Despu\u00e9s, cerrar y abrir la consola y hacer <em>echo $PATH<\/em> y <em>echo $JAVA_HOME<\/em> para comprobar que todo ha ido bien:<br \/>\n<em>PATH=$PATH:\/directoriodejdkbin<\/em><br \/>\n<em> JAVA_HOME=\/directoriodejdk<\/em><br \/>\n<em> export PATH<\/em><br \/>\n<em> export JAVA_HOME<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Segundo paso: instalaci\u00f3n de Android Studio\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bajar el IDE completo (por ejemplo, el fichero <em>android-studio-ide-141.1903250-linux.zip<\/em>) de la <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">web<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Realizar la instalaci\u00f3n siguiendo <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/installing\/index.html?pkg=studio\" target=\"_blank\">estas instrucciones<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8211; Si Java no est\u00e1 bien instalado (ver <a href=\"#primerpaso\"><em>Primer paso<\/em><\/a>), al ejecutar en el directorio bin el comando <em>.\/studio.sh<\/em>, aparece el mensaje &#8220;JDK Required: &#8216;tools.jar&#8217; seems to be not in Studio classpath. Please ensure JAVA_HOME points to JDK rather than JRE.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8211; En Xubuntu me ha aparecido un mensaje de error debido al demonio iBus; en <a href=\"http:\/\/tools.android.com\/knownissues\/ibus\" target=\"_blank\">esta direcci\u00f3n<\/a> se dan posibles soluciones al problema.<br \/>\n&#8211; Escoger la instalaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar.<br \/>\n&#8211; Se da la opci\u00f3n de KVM para acelerar la VM (en mi caso, no la he activado porque aparentemente podr\u00eda afectar a Virtual Box y no he querido investigar m\u00e1s; m\u00e1s info <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.android.com\/tools\/devices\/emulator.html#vm-linux\" target=\"_blank\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuando se abra el Android Studio por primera vez, escoger la opci\u00f3n <em>Configure<\/em> para definir el path del SDK y el JDK. Este paso tambi\u00e9n puede hacerse con posterioridad a la instalaci\u00f3n: abrir Android Studio, escoger <em>File-&gt; Other settings -&gt; Default Project Structure<\/em>. El SDK est\u00e1 en un directorio que se ha debido crear en la configuraci\u00f3n; el JDK, en el directorio donde se hizo la descarga seg\u00fan se explic\u00f3 anteriomente (ver <a href=\"#primerpaso\"><em>Primer paso<\/em><\/a>).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para crear un proyecto:<br \/>\n&#8211; Versi\u00f3n m\u00ednima escogida para tel\u00e9fono y tablet:\u00a0 Froyo<br \/>\n&#8211; Tipo de actividad: Blank activity<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Tercer paso: instalaci\u00f3n de NDK<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Descargar el fichero adecuado y seguir <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/ndk\/downloads\/index.html#download\" target=\"_blank\">estas instrucciones<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mover el directorio descomprimido a donde se quiera, y actualizar el path<br \/>\n<em>PATH=$PATH:\/directoriondk<\/em><br \/>\n<em> export PATH<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Desarrollo de aplicaciones<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/developer.android.com\/training\/basics\/firstapp\/running-app.html\" target=\"_blank\">Tutorial b\u00e1sico<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[ACTUALIZACI\u00d3N]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He repetido la instalaci\u00f3n en un Ubuntu Mate 15.04 vivid, y hay varios cambios respecto a la instalaci\u00f3n comentada anteriormente.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al instalar, aparece el error <em>Unable to run mksdcard<\/em>. La soluci\u00f3n puede encontrarse <a href=\"http:\/\/blascarr.com\/android-studio-unable-to-run-mksdcard-sdk-tool\/\" target=\"_blank\">en este enlace de Blascarr<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">La API 2.2 (Froyo) viene desinstalada por defecto, as\u00ed que antes de crear una aplicaci\u00f3n nueva hay que instalarla usando Tools -&gt; Android -&gt; SDK Manager.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Respecto a la emulaci\u00f3n, dos puntos a tener en cuenta:\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">He necesitado dar permisos a la carpeta <em>system_images<\/em> del directorio de instalaci\u00f3n de SDK.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">He intentado crear un AVD usando una imagen de 64 bits, pero necesita la KVM y como, aparentemente, KVM da problemas con Virtual Box, he preferido no instalarla. Consecuencia: la emulaci\u00f3n va lent\u00edsima \ud83d\ude41<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a id=\"english\"><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"#spanish\">[En espa\u00f1ol]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are the steps to follow in order to install Android Studio and NDK on Xubuntu 14.04 (post written in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/jafma.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Juan Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez Madrigal<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Preliminary requests<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This software cannot be installed on a virtual machine, since the emulator requires virtualization tools, which are not available in a virtual machines.<\/li>\n<li>Both programs are quite demanding in hard drive space: be sure you have enough before you begin the installation.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/training\/basics\/firstapp\/creating-project.html\" target=\"_blank\">Here<\/a> you can find several tutorials to learn how to program with Android Studio.<\/li>\n<li>Brief list of suggested readings (all of them available at <a href=\"http:\/\/jabega.uma.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">J\u00e1bega<\/a>, the catalogue of the Library of M\u00e1laga University)\n<ul>\n<li><em>El Gran libro de Android : [actualizado a la versi\u00f3n KitKat y Android L Preview]<\/em> \/ Jes\u00fas Tom\u00e1s Giron\u00e9s<\/li>\n<li><em> Building Android apps<\/em> \/ Mike McGrath<\/li>\n<li><em> Manual imprescindible de desarrollo de aplicaciones para Android. Edici\u00f3n 2015<\/em>\/ Joan Ribas Lequerica<\/li>\n<li><em>Profesional Android open accesory programing with Arduino [Recurso electr\u00f3nico]<\/em>\/ Andreas G\u00f6ransson,<\/li>\n<li><em> Android Studio application development [Recurso electr\u00f3nico]<\/em> \/ Bel\u00e9n Cruz Zapata.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a id=\"firststep\"><\/a><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>First step: installing Java<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/es\/java\/javase\/downloads\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">java jdk<\/a> from Sun (jdk 7 or later); it is important to choose jdk and not jre (jre is just the running environment).<\/li>\n<li>Create a folder and unzip (or untar :)) the Java jdk.<\/li>\n<li>If you wisht to activate the java applets in firefox, you have to create in the folder where firefox stores its plugins, a symbolic link to the plugin that the jdk offers, which is stored in \/jdkfolder\/jre\/lib\/amd64\/libnpjp2.so. Then, restore firefox and check about:plugins. You can also run jcontrol in your Java bin folder, so you can set the permissions that allow to run applets from a known location.<\/li>\n<li>Append, at the end of <em>~\/.bashrc<\/em>, these lines, so Java can be available for Android Studio. Then, close and open again the terminal, and type <em>echo $PATH<\/em> and <em>echo $JAVA_HOME<\/em> in order to check that everything is ok:<br \/>\n<em>PATH=$PATH:\/jdkbinfolder<\/em><br \/>\n<em> JAVA_HOME=\/jdkfolder<\/em><br \/>\n<em> export PATH<\/em><br \/>\n<em> export JAVA_HOME<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Second step: installing Android Studio<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download the IDE (i.e., android-studio-ide-141.1903250-linux.zip file) from the <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">web<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Install the software according to <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/installing\/index.html?pkg=studio\" target=\"_blank\">this guideline<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8211; If Java is not properly installed (see <a href=\"#firststep\"><em>First step<\/em><\/a>), when you run <em>.\/studio.sh<\/em> in the bin folder, you get this message \u201cJDK Required: \u2018tools.jar\u2019 seems to be not in Studio classpath. Please ensure JAVA_HOME points to JDK rather than JRE.\u201d<br \/>\n&#8211; Under Xubuntu I also get an error message due to the iBus daemon; <a href=\"http:\/\/tools.android.com\/knownissues\/ibus\" target=\"_blank\">this link<\/a> offers several solutions to this problem.<br \/>\n&#8211; Choose standard installation.<br \/>\n&#8211; You can choose KVM in order to accelerating the VM (I have rejected this option, since -apparently- it could have an influence on Virtual Box, and I did not want to risk my virtual machine; more info <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.android.com\/tools\/devices\/emulator.html#vm-linux\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>When Android Studio opens for the first time, choose the Configure option so you can define the paths for SDK and JDK. This step can also be done after installation is completed: open Android Studio, then choose File-&gt; Other settings -&gt; Default Project Structure. You can fin the solution\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blascarr.com\/android-studio-unable-to-run-mksdcard-sdk-tool\/\" target=\"_blank\">in this link at Blascarr<\/a>\u00a0[in Spanish].<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">API 2.2 (Froyo) is not installed by default, so prior to create a new app you have to install it\u00a0with\u00a0Tools -&gt; Android -&gt; SDK Manager.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding emulation, two aspects should be taken into account:\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I had to grant permissions to the folder <em>system_images<\/em> inside the SDK installation folder.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I tried to create a new AVD with\u00a0a 64 bits image, but it requires KVM and sice, apparently, KVM is not compatible with Virtual Box, I choosed not to install that image.
