La instalaci\u00f3n y el uso de las tres herramientas tiene algunos trucos, que comentar\u00e9 en varios posts. El usuario postgres est\u00e1 creado por defecto, pero bloqueado por seguridad para que no pueda accederse; por eso lo primero es cambiar la clave:<br \/>\n<em>sudo -u postgres psql postgres<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0\u00a0 \\password postgres ( e introducir nueva password cuando se pida)<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0\u00a0 Ctrl+D<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Crear la extensi\u00f3n adminpack (igual s\u00f3lo es necesario para PostgreSQL 9.1, no estoy segura):<br \/>\n<em> sudo -u postgres psql<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0\u00a0 CREATE EXTENSION adminpack;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Crear el servidor en pgAdmin (usuario postgres, clave la que se ha cambiado antes)<\/li>\n<li>A\u00f1adir extensiones, una vez creada la BD:<br \/>\n\u00b7 <em>Bot\u00f3n derecho del rat\u00f3n -&gt; New object -&gt; New extension -&gt; postgis primero, postgis_topology despu\u00e9s.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00b7 Esto a\u00f1ade la tabla spatial_ref_sys; la antigua tabla geometry_columns es ahora una vista.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a id=\"english\"><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"#spanish\">[En espa\u00f1ol]<\/a><br \/>\nI work with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.postgresql.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">PostgreSQL<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/postgis.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">PostGIS<\/a> (DB), <a href=\"https:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/wwwsqldesigner\/\" target=\"_blank\">WWW SQL Designer<\/a> for designing the DB, and my GIS is<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gvsig.com\/welcome?set_language=en\" target=\"_blank\"> gvSIG 1.12.0<\/a>; the OS is <a href=\"http:\/\/xubuntu.org\/\">Xubuntu 14.04 <\/a>(64 bits). Installing and using these tools can be tricky, so I plan to write several posts about it.
